BuddyPress 1.2
All hail a brand new day: BuddyPress 1.2 has just been released, and with it an new theme structure. This is the very last time major structural changes will happen, as with this release, BP now works on single WordPress installs.
We’ll be working away at updating the themes hosted here as well.
Do themes have to be made for 1.2 or are they backward compatible? Thanks! 1.2 is looking great so far.
They all have to be updated. I know there’s a backwards compatibility plugin, but I haven’t tried it, and I’d rather get the themes spiffed up instead.
I’m impressed with newest version of buddy press. I installed it a a wp install at my website at http://www.2453.net/wpdawgrunner/ I’m hoping for a new theme that will allow me to make a bicycling, swimming and hiking theme style. Similar to detox, but detox would be fine. The focus would be on southern california high and low desert climate. Let me know when the current detox is update for the new version of buddy press.
